2021 Toyota Mirai Concept Review
In 2015, Toyota debuted the Mirai as the first production hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) offered for sale in North America. 2021 brings about the unveiling of the second-generation Mirai, which is now a premium sedan focused on cutting-edge design, technology, and driving performance.
For 2021, Toyota has made the Mirai a rear-wheel drive (RWD) vehicle while the previous version was built on the front-wheel drive (FWD) platform. This made the sedan longer, lower, wider, and stronger than the outgoing model. Toyota targeted a 30-percent increase in range, which would place the new sedan at about 400 miles of driving range. In addition, the 2021 Toyota Mirai specs include a length of 4,975 mm, width of 1,885 mm, and height of 1,470 mm.
