MINI CONNECTED: THE BASICS

The MINI Connected infotainment system acts as a command center for most things you would want to do in your MINI other than driving. You will find a 3D rotating display with your six main functions:

• MINI Connected: You can find your smartphone integration apps such as Spotify or Pandora here. To learn more about MINI apps, click here.
• My MINI: Here you will find vehicle settings like light and door preferences and clock features.
• Navigation: As you might expect, this is where you will find everything regarding the navigation system such as the real time map, directions, and area avoidance.
• Media/Radio: Here you can tune into your favorite radio station or listen to music from an external device.
• Communication: This feature houses all of the phone calling functions for use over Bluetooth. To learn how to sync your smartphone to your MINI with Bluetooth, click here.
• Notifications: Here you will find any vehicle service, traffic, or communication related notifications.

This video explains how to install an update to your MINI's navigation system after purchasing it via USB stick from a MINI dealership. Insert the MINI Map Update USB stick into your vehicle and follow the instructions. Do not remove the UBS drive until installation is complete.
