Ford expands its electric-vehicle range in Europe with the electric version of the Tourneo Courier MPV. The Ford E-Tourneo Courier represents a clean-sheet design aimed at maximizing space and practicality while sporting an SUV-inspired design. Ford is playing catch up with Tesla in the EV arena, and it's now got a new weapon to help it win the duel. Ford designed the E-Tourneo Courier from the ground up to be compact yet offer plenty of space and practical features. Ford graced the E-Tourneo Courier with an SUV-like design to appeal to Europeans. It has short overhangs and clear lines, conveying a sense of toughness, while the front-end design is unique to the battery-electric variant.

Built for adventure and ready to play, the Ford E-Tourneo Courier is a five-seat multi-activity vehicle with a distinctive SUV-inspired design, offering plentiful space for passengers and their belongings within a compact, city-friendly footprint.

The latest addition to Ford’s versatile Tourneo family features a refined all-electric driveline, complemented by an extensive array of digital experiences and connected features to help make EV ownership attractive and accessible, with convenient over-the-air updates to enhance the product over time.

E-Tourneo Courier was developed from the ground up to deliver a spacious and practical design in a manoeuvrable and compact package. EV-exclusive styling features a futuristic-looking coast-to-coast light bar and Ford signature chrome diamond grille.

E-Tourneo Courier is one of ten all-electric vehicles Ford has committed to introduce to Europe by 2024, as it targets zero emissions for all vehicle sales in the region by 2035.

The all-electric model will arrive in 2024 for customers across Europe and follows the EcoBoost petrol Tourneo Courier that opens for order in summer 2023, with initial deliveries before the end of the year.

This includes a light bar and Ford's signature chrome diamond grille, which the carmaker says adds exclusivity and instantly identifies the new EV as part of the Ford lineup. The E-Tourneo Courier offers plenty of space for five passengers and their belongings. Ford claims the new model offers 44% more trunk space than the outgoing Tourneo Courier. Occupants also benefit from more shoulder room and headroom and many storage options throughout the cabin. Being an electric vehicle, the E-Tourneo Courier also has a frunk with a capacity of 44 liters (1.55 cu-ft).
