Driving behaviour
In the same way that high speed, excessive braking, and sudden acceleration can all increase fuel consumption with a conventional engine, these things can all affect your EV battery performance too.
One pedal
Ford’s advanced one-pedal* drive system is ideal for driving in stop-start city traffic. The system allows you to drive using a single pedal, automatically slowing the car down for you when you release the accelerator. Delivering a smooth, efficient, and comfortable drive, while also capturing unused energy to help extend the battery’s range.
Drive modes
Selectable drive modes alter the vehicle settings on your Mach-E, allowing you to prioritise between powerful performance and optimum driving range. To help get the most from your charge, select ‘Whisper’ mode. This will soften your acceleration and help to maximise range.
Cruise Control
Using Cruise Control is another useful way to get the most from your battery. By keeping the car at a smooth constant speed, it can reduce the need for sudden baking and accelerating, and help to draw less battery power.
Intelligent Range
Intelligent Range displays your current charge status, your remaining driving distance and can suggest convenient charging locations along your planned route. Over time, this can learn your driving behaviour and adjust the range accordingly.
