On-call for off-roading
In addition to a standard V6 engine, Frontier boasts 310 standard horsepower, impressive available 4x4 capability, up to 7,150 lbs. towing capacity, a payload capacity of up to 1,620 lbs., and advanced driving technologies to turn your days out into days to remember. Spray-on Bedliner
The available spray-on bedliner has a rugged, nonskid surface that adheres directly to the bed. It is fade- and weather-resistant, which helps prevent rusting while protecting the truck’s bed.
Utili-track® Channel System
Frontier’s bed offers three available channels so you can slide your tie-down cleats into position and help secure just about any type of cargo.
120-volt Outlet
Frontier’s available bed-mounted 120-volt AC power outlet gives you the flexibility of a household power plug for electricity on the go
Bed Lighting
Load up after dark with plenty of lighting to see what you’re doing, thanks to Frontier’s available LED under-rail bed lighting.
Dampened Assist Tailgate
Frontier’s tailgate doesn’t go “THUD” when you open and drop it. Instead, it lowers itself in a smooth, dampened motion for safety and convenience.
Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
Frontier can help look out for what’s ahead and for people crossing in front of you. Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection monitors your speed and the distance between you and the car ahead, and it can let you know if you need to slow down. It can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a frontal collision or lessen the severity of an impact. And when it detects a pedestrian in the crosswalk, it can stop you in your tracks.
Rear Automatic Braking
Save your bumper. Frontier with Rear Automatic Braking watches out directly behind you for large stationary objects you might not see. If it detects something and you fail to stop, it can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a rear collision or lessen the severity of an impact.
Blind Spot Warning
Wait — was that a car over there? Frontier with Blind Spot Warning helps keep an eye on the blind spot area and gives you a heads-up if it detects a vehicle hiding there.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Fear no parking lot. When you’re backing out of a space, Rear Cross Traffic Alert watches around the rear of your Frontier and can warn you about cars it detects creeping up on you from either side.
Lane Departure Warning
Hold it right there. Lane Departure Warning helps make sure you change lanes only when you mean to.
High Beam Assist
High Beam Assist helps you during late-night drives by turning down your high beams when it senses oncoming traffic.

👋 Here is the mid cycle refresh on the 2025 Nissan Frontier. For the 2025 model year Nissan updated the front grille design, tailgate and infotainment screen. This 2025 Nissan Frontier was the top trim Pro-4X finished in Bluestone Pearl with an MSRP of $51,000. The 2025 Frontier has the 3.8L V6 with 310 HP and 281 TQ with a 9 speed transmission. This really is the last of the old school midsized trucks with a basic naturally aspirated V6. The facelift isn't a huge change for the 2025 Frontier but the new grill and bumper look nice and bold. The tailgate looks great matching the Titan. The multimedia screen fills out the dash better and has Frontier written underneath it. However I feel like they didn't actually change anything. It's the same smaller screen inside the big screen, you can just have a few things like media and a clock pop up in the right side. So why is it not just a nice full screen display with the up to date software? Other then that it's all the same which isn't really too new. But if you want a simple midsize truck that doesn't break the bank, the 2025 Nissan Frontier is a good choice. The Pro 4X has some good off road features like four wheel drive and a locking differential along with a 360 camera view. So if you want to spend around $50k for a nice simple truck, the new facelift 2025 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X might be the perfect truck for you!

- I bought a used low mileage '19 Frontier PRO4X v6 4.0L 5spd auto 3yrs ago and so happy with it. Cruise no more than 75mph and normal country city driving, I get 21-22mpg, by hand, not the lie-o meter computer. It's comfortable, and prefer driving this than our Corolla Hybrid 52mpg. Cheers!
- Honestly the only thing keeping me from getting a Pro-4x over the SV 4x4 is the lava red interior. Nit picking I know but man it looks so tacky imo. Really hoping for an all black or grey option next time around.
- Nissan has everything it takes to manufacture the best product, it has experience and financial conditions, it lacks commitment and desire to present the best cars. An example is the Nissan Frontier sold in South America, the car requires more onboard technology and resources for the driver. Another example, there is the Nissan Titan and it doesn't sell in a continental country like Brazil, which is absurd.
- Once Frontier accessory market becomes more widely available… Tacoma fan base will be shrunk. Now new Tacoma, you won’t be able to change a button…everything is too much complicated.
