We don't know a lot about the new 2020 Ford Ranger Raptor yet, or exactly when a Ranger Raptor will be released in the United States, but we do know it's been insanely popular in Europe. This capable, midsize truck with an off-road performance boost has a lot to offer, and we are excited about the possible release in the States.
2020 Ford Ranger Raptor Release Date
If we were to receive the new Ford Ranger Raptor for the 2020 model year, we would expect it mid-to-late 2020. The 2019 Ranger Raptor was set to release mid-2019 in Europe. If we were to expect a similar production window, the 2020 Ford Ranger Raptor would release mid-2020 in Europe. Most of the news surrounding a release of the Ranger Raptor in the States points to 2022 as the earliest possible debut.
New Ford Ranger Raptor Stateside
We don't know the exact changes that will be made to the design or performance of the Ford Ranger Raptor in the United States compared to the 2020 Ranger Raptor we will see released in Europe. We anticipate that some specs will be different to cater to the American market such as a more comparable exterior design with the new Ford Bronco and possibly being equipped with similar engine options as well. We will have to wait and see.
Interior Design
In the current Ford Ranger, we see room for 4 people and expect the same in a 2020 Ford Ranger Raptor. Standard features would include the SYNC infotainment system. Throughout the entire cabin you will see specialized seats with the famous Raptor decal stitched into the seams alongside trims and accents for a classic Raptor vibe. It's possible that the Ranger Raptor will have several driving modes much like the F-150 Raptor.
