You'll find the Navigation with Electric Intelligence useful here: it takes into account factors such as charge level, weather or traffic situation to calculate the best route. Charging stops – if necessary – are planned into the route and included in the route guidance instructions. The Navigation with Electric Intelligence gives priority to fast charging stations so that you can reach your destination as quickly as possible.
In addition, you can visualise your current range on the media display and in the Mercedes me App via the Range on Map. With the help of the area marked on the map, you can see at a glance at any time whether you are going to be able to reach your destination without a charging stop.
Display of Charging Stations.
You can use the Mercedes me App or the media display in the vehicle to show public charging stations near to where you are, or at your destination. So even before you stop to charge, you'll have all the information you need about the availability of the charging stations, costs and connector type.
Charging settings and Pre-Entry Climate Control.
Enjoy your feel-good climate when you enter the vehicle. To do this, simply set the temperature via Mercedes me or using the control elements in the vehicle. If the vehicle is still connected and charging during the pre-entry climate control, you will also be able to start your journey with the battery fully charged and significantly reduce the energy requirement during the journey. The Mercedes me App can furthermore be used at any time to call up and modify all sorts of information and charging settings, such as when charging should be completed by, or a limit to the maximum charging level. With the Mercedes me App you can also keep an eye at all times on the current charge status of your vehicle.
Mercedes me Eco Coach.
Driving a plug-in hybrid or an all-electric EQ model is a completely new experience - even for experienced drivers. The latest member of the new Mercedes me App generation - Mercedes me Eco Coach - teaches the electrical capabilities and requirements of your vehicle in a fun and playful way. And you can do so conveniently with the Mercedes me Eco Coach App on your own smartphone.
The Mercedes me Eco Coach App supports you in the use and optimisation of your plug-in hybrid and electric vehicle on the basis of real data. Related to your individual driving, charging and parking activities, helpful tips and explanations are provided on how to use your vehicle in a sustainable and resource-saving way.
You receive points in the app for your individual activities and can compare yourself with other drivers. In addition, you can complete exciting challenges to increase your score. The points can be redeemed for exclusive rewards and services via a bonus programme.
Those who follow the app's recommendations and tips not only get to know their vehicle with an alternative drive better, but also optimise their driving style, protect the environment and can look forward to rewards.
