Farewell, Carlos ❤️| Four Years of Smooth Operations with Ferrari

We’ve had countless unforgettable moments with Carlos over the last four years. We spoke to Carlos, Charles, Fred and the team to hear some of their favourite moments with Carlos.

Actually genuinely sad Carlos is leaving he was really finding himself in Ferrari. Williams will be a set back unless they become competitive. Carlos really looks good in Red. I hope he either comes back one day or finds a front runner team in the near future. Smooth Operator! Smooth Operation!! Forza Ferrari. Grazie Carlos Sainz.

I got into F1 this year. At the beginning, I didn't have a favorite team or driver. Today, I can say that Carlos has really won my heart. There's something about him that's so inspiring to watch. I can't wait to see what more comes from him. I will support him on his way to his dream! ❤

It's crazy how the team talks about how much help Sainz has been in the development of the car and the team. Especially considering where we were in 2020 before he arrived. What we achieve from now on will carry a part of him.

Thank you Carlos for everything that you have done for this team. You will forever be a part of this team and will be missed dearly 😭. Wishing the next chapter to be amazing and successful

I'll miss Carlos in red so much, but I feel blessed to have seen him race and win with Ferrari. These four years have been magical, and now it's time to wipe my tears and watch him blossom in blue. Forza Carlos, siempre~ ❤

C2 forever, I’m going to miss Ferrari Carlos, I cried multiple times this year because of Carlos leaving ❤, We love you Carlos, even if you are in a Ferrari or in a Williams Vamos Carlos

I dont know if this will be reached but…. Just wanted to say that u have been incredible Carlos❤
You and charles just never failed to put a great show for us from the day u guys came together (also to mention 2022).
Thank you for everything champ. You two’s unbreakable bond will never be forgotten❤
Didn’t ever think that someday i would get to witness this.
Thanks man, thanks for everything❤
These days will never be forgotten
Carlos Sainz+Charles Leclerc=Scuderia Ferrari❤

He was perfect for Ferrari, a strong driver and person that pick himself up everytime there were setbacks, 24 races with a team that replace you and still he show so much class, there were many times i though he would just give up, but that not his nature Grande Carlos 💪🌶️

Why this kinda makes me cry? I still think they got what it takes for the future to finaly reach the ultimate goal. Thanks Carlos for everything that you've done. Your work both in McLaren and now Ferrari was simply exemplary!

Thank you Carlos for these 4 years with Ferrari, you'll always be part of the team no matter what. And for me you really suit the vibe of this amazing team ! You've done so much and you proved us that you are very strong as a driver but also as a person !! I'll miss you a lot in this team 🥲

All this will remain forever in my heart❤You will forever be part of the Ferrari family and you deserve to be there. 4 wonderful years, which flew by thanks to you❤I know I'll miss all of this but I know I'll follow you anytime❤ I hope you can get back in command of the red ❤You will always remain a Ferrari driver in my heart❤There is no need and I have no words to describe all this... or maybe all this needs to be expressed in feelings. You won in Mexico where you already knew you had one foot out of the red single-seater, but You have proven that you are a true Ferrari driver and that everyone will miss you and you know it.❤I have followed you since day 0 that you came to this Ferrari family❤And I have to say I was sorry you were leaving McLaren, now I don't think about that anymore❤I didn't think this day would come so quickly But this season has flown by with ups and downs❤ Even if you didn't win the constructors' championship it doesn't matter❤The important thing was to believe in it, you were a Ferrari driver until the last corner of this EMOTIONAL gp I hope you can come back here one day with Charles or any driver you like. For me you will remain a Ferrari driver whether in Williams or in any team you will go to, you were a Ferrari driver until the last corner of the finish line❤Come back soon❤🏎️ GRAZIE CARLOS❤️‍🩹 THANK YOU🥹

I've been crying all week knowing that all good things must come to an end. I'm crying once again because of this beautiful video, it won't be the same without Carlos. I know they'll remain friends no matter the team they're racing for, but knowing they're not gonna be teammates physically hurts. Knowing there probably won't be any Charlos interviews or challenges or Ferrari crew messing with his shoes... It breaks my heart because the duo that brought me closer to F1 is the one that breaks my heart now. But no matter what, I'm still part of the Tifosi and I'm here for Lewis and Charles, but I will also for sure root for Carlos ❤ Vamos, Chili ❤

Carlos Sainz heading to Monza
Last year, the Monza Grand Prix was special for Carlos Sainz, who secured the fourth pole position of his Formula 1 career in front of the ecstatic Ferrari fans, following it up with a third-place finish in the race and fiercely defending against his teammate Charles Leclerc. However, this will be Carlos Sainz’s last Monza weekend as a Ferrari driver, as he will be leaving the Maranello team at the end of the year to join Williams. The “Smooth Operator” wants to bid farewell to the fans with a victory that Ferrari has been seeking at home since 2019.

Carlos Sainz’s comments
“Improving by two positions in the race compared to last year and especially seeing two Ferraris on the Monza podium would be an almost perfect story. There's no secret: McLaren and Red Bull are faster at the moment, but maybe we can fight for the win with the new updates and on a more favorable circuit like this one,” he said to Sky Sport F1. “We’ll see from Friday if everything works, and from there we’ll understand if we can fight for something important. The whole team wants to do well this weekend for all the people who come to support us.” – the Spanish driver pointed out. “I didn't expect to overtake a Red Bull in the Netherlands: I thought I'd finish seventh, but we actually had a much better pace than we expected. The atmosphere here energizes us; we know we have to do well to repay this passion.” – Carlos Sainz continued.

The relationship with Charles Leclerc
Alongside Carlos Sainz was Charles Leclerc, with whom he will share his last Monza as teammates: “Charles is a very good person, I get along very well with him. Even today, we spent five hours together, having fun and joking around. We’ve known each other for four years and attend all the events together. Within a team, you always want competitive drivers who push to the maximum, but who also get along well together.” – the Ferrari driver concluded ahead of the Italian Grand Prix.
