A year ago, Honda stunned the world with its 0 Series concepts: A pair of next-generation electric vehicles built from the ground up to compete with he world's best. It's great to see Honda take EVs seriously. But the shock came from the boxy, wedge-like designs that were very far afield from the Accords and CR-Vs that so many people know and love. Today, we got a preview of an upcoming electric SUV from Honda, and it looks like the Japanese automaker is sticking with that radical design language. We should see it at CES in January. Color me intrigued; maybe it will be more in line with what EV buyers want. And that's normal cars, by the way. Also on tap today: some great deals on one of the best normal options out there, the Chevy Equinox EV. — Patrick George, Editor-in-Chief |
