Launching an all-new EV platform is hard, especially if you've never done it before. That's why each automaker has struggled with delays, quality concerns and other setbacks when launching its first high-volume EV. Some insist that by moving slowly, they can avoid those pitfalls. Stellantis is one such company. And boy, does the Jeep Wagoneer S prove them wrong. I drove it last week, and while it's nice inside and has reasonable specs, it still doesn't feel like a mature product. Stellantis has a lot to learn about making EVs, and since they're a late mover, consumers might not be that patient. Read more below. But even the EV giants have their headaches. Tesla's new Model Y is getting plenty of heat online. The good news, however, is that the price gap between EVs and ICE cars is shrinking.
