Toyota finally steps up.

People want good EVs from Toyota. It's a belated Toyotathon at InsideEVs as we celebrate the company's newfound excitement about EVs. We've long criticized Toyota for failing to turn its hybrid experience into a meaningful lead on compelling EVs. After seeing the success of the bZ4X, the company finally seems to get it.   People want great Toyota EVs. So the company is going to try to deliver. The already popular bZ4X is getting a range and charging boost to finally make it competitive with its peers. The Lexus RZ, meanwhile, is getting a big power boost, a simulated manual transmission and steer-by wire.    Plus, there's an electric Toyota truck on the way. It sounds like Toyota is stepping up to give fans and pundits what they've been asking for.
