- Really enjoyed this review as I have my eye on the Abarth in the coming months, so thanks for the comprehensive run down! However, in my opinion, the new Mini interiors are utterly shocking and a product of pure cost cutting. I have a F55 Cooper S, where the material quality and design is far, far superior the new one. I test drove a J01 Cooper S with a view to maybe switching up, and couldn't believe how cheap it felt inside compared to the F-series.
- I agree that the Mini is the better car. However I’m not about to change my car anytime soon. I have the Smart #1 Brabus which has more tech & features than the level three mini as standard and it’s cheaper. Add to that it’s AWD 428 HP 543 Nm torque with 0-62 of 3.9 seconds claimed but in reality 3.52 seconds since the latest OTA ‘Rocket Launch’ update. Why didn’t you compare it to these two? Because bang for buck it’s in a different league 😂
- Why do people think Mini is about being small? That’s like saying Porsche is about coupes. Heritage is one thing but we are not in the 60s now. Cars are bigger for safety reasons - just look at the size difference between the Mk 1 golf and the Mk 8.
