- let's be honest. such a hassle to transport sick horses abroad for slaughter? for what profit margin? i've always wondered if it's even legal to slaughter such sick horses for human consumption in canada. aren't the veterinary inspections there more stricter than in the usa? a lot of things don't add up here. please be careful, these people are dangerous. a lot of money is on stake.
- Wow! Never considered that possibility'; but,, it makes sense. I remember when an investigation uncovered numerous pizza parlors in little bitty 1 or no stoplights turned out to be part of a vast network of Mafia drug distribution. Nearly 50 years ago when I was the Sullivan County Library Director Library, we had a reformed drug dealer/drug users working for us & I was totally shocked when he told me that Sullivan was the hub of the Cocaine trade. And when I thought about it, it made perfect sense. Sullivan was about equal distance from some big universities = Vincennes University to the south, IU-Bloomington to the east, ISU, Rose-Hulman Ivy Tech & St Mary of the Woods to the north. Sure got me to thinking.
