This morning, Lexus Australia officially unveiled its reimagined LANDMARK by Lexus Birdcage pavilion for the 2025 Lexus Melbourne Cup Carnival.
Designed to offer guests an elevated and immersive experience across three levels, the new architectural foundation seamlessly embodies the future of contemporary luxury and the art of hospitality.
This exclusive preview commenced with a spectacular parasol performance across the terraces on levels two and three, where 30 dancers and their parasols bloomed into a flower formation to unveil the 2025 Lexus Melbourne Cup trophy as the theme - Synthesis - and 2025 and collaborator line-up was announced.
“Synthesis”, where the human experience is defined by a merging of traditional craftsmanship and future technology, is brought to life through a curated collective of collaborators across culinary, design, entertainment and lifestyle.
The LANDMARK by Lexus esteemed collaborators in 2025 include Brahman Perera (Melbourne-based interior designer) Chef Josh Raine (40Res in Sydney), design duo Vlasta Kubusova & Miroslav Kral (Crafting Plastics), Julia Tink and Trent Knox (St Remio ethical coffee) pâtissier Stephen He (Le Yeahllow in Melbourne), floral artist Simone Gooch (Fjura), and artist Simone Esterhuizen.
Upon arrival, guests will experience this year’s exclusive gifting suite which features bespoke silk scarves adorned with Simone Esterhuizen’s artwork while enjoying Chef Josh Raine’s Bento Bar menu on Level 1.
Ascending to Level 2, guest can order Lexus’s signature cocktail - a Yuzu Sake Japanese Spritz with nori garnish. During the unveil, Brahman Perera spoke to the deeply considered design story this year, which also features a spectacular floral installation by Simone Gooch in the Sunken Lounge and additional artwork by Simone Esterhuizen.
On Level 3 to the tunes of DJ Nico, guests will be treated to Le Yeahllow’s signature Lexus dessert paired with St Remio’s ethical coffee, which includes a new addition for 2025 - the Dubai Mont Blanc. Lexus Australia Chief Executive John Pappas said the luxury brand will again set the benchmark for an unrivalled guest experience throughout the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
