Chinese automaker Nio has unveiled the second generation of its popular ES6 electric SUV. The second-generation ES6 crossover has an electric propulsion system, the total power of which is 490 hp. This car from a Chinese company has four-wheel drive and is powered by a 75 or 100 kWh traction battery. The crossover will go on sale in August 2023. The new car is built on the NT2 platform and has an air suspension with adaptive dampers. Also, the new generation car of the Chinese manufacturer has wheels, which are 20 or 21 inches in diameter. In design, the new crossover differs from the first-generation car in several ways. We are talking about a slightly modified shape of the wings, enlarged windows and updated optics. The ES6 is equipped with Intelligent Comfort Braking, Continuous Suspension Control and Intelligent Chassis Controller.
In addition, the new car is also equipped with an in-house developed twin-engine all-wheel drive system, which provides 9 driving modes. The electric crossover is equipped with a twin-engine system with all-wheel drive, with a maximum power of 482 hp. and a torque of 700 Nm. It will provide buyers with two battery options: 75 kWh and 100 kWh. The first battery has a power reserve of 490 km. fast charging time from 10 to 80% 26 minutes. The second one has 625 km on the Chinese CLTC cycle and Acceleration to 100 km / h takes the crossover only 4.5 seconds.
