XC90 has always been gorgeous and I do like that it did not change much since 2016. Volvo, unlike other brands don’t do stupid facelifts. They don’t need to, their design is timeless, elegant and clever. Therefore I was really afraid that this refresh would be… unnecessary. But it turns out it is absolutely beautiful. I watched live the reveal this morning. I love it. Please keep it for another 10 years or more ! Such a nice refresh.

I’m on my second T8 in 5 years and love it. Current one is Denim blue, ultimate, bright. I upgraded my R design because the 2023 one received the high voltage battery upgrade. I do understand that they can’t add more battery capacity without extensive modifications to the frame. But this means, at least for me, it’s not worth changing to this version, just because of cosmetic changes. If the T8 is still going to stick around for a while it does need better electric range to keep up with German rivals. I get maximum 35 miles (in summer) and that just isn’t competitive any longer. Still love the car as a whole, but this is just a stopgap. And no, I won’t be going all electric with EX90 either.

🚗✨ Wow, the new Volvo XC90 looks absolutely stunning! The design is sleek and modern, and the interior seems so luxurious and spacious. I love the focus on safety and the plug-in hybrid option is a great touch for eco-conscious drivers 🌍🔋

Awesome car. But 2 glaring omissions. More like a missed opportunity that can push you to be the car people almost picked. 1- Vented seats in the rear isn’t an option. At your price point it’s an expectation and your little customer in the rear is critical. 2- In 2025 when the planet is wireless you cannot launch wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. That’s inexcusable. You are not yet in production. You can still get it in there & with that u are back in reckoning. Good luck !

As Lee Iacocca said, right decision (to keep internal combustion engines) made in wrong time (in 2024) is a wrong decision. You have bloated EV bubble too much, and now try to sell 10-year old model as brand new 😂, and with increased price.

First car with a massaging vibrating steering. Only in VOLVO C40 and xc40. Feature available only between 100km to 120 Kmph. No fix available. Highly distracting and unsafe. Worse customer service exprience.

Volvo (a make I once respected) says it believes the future in automotives is electric. Unless the world resolves the many downsides of EV's, electricity does not view the future for automotives. For one, where will you get the electricity? Where is the refueling infrastructure? What about other electrical needs besides automotives? My advice is, go diesel, or diesel-hybrid.

Electric driving with a back-up plan
Add electric to your everyday drive to enjoy peaceful journeys with powerful acceleration, then switch over to the car’s high-performance petrol engine when you need to cover extra ground. Simple, efficient charging
Plug in overnight for quick and easy charging. Your XC90 can recharge from 0 to 100 per cent in about three hours with a 6.4kW 2-phase onboard charger, giving you up to 72 km electric range. Effortless, dynamic control
Experience the comfort of one pedal drive in the electric Pure mode to ease your driving in heavy traffic, or switch into all-wheel drive for increased stability and traction in all road conditions. The new version of Volvo's premium family crossover, codenamed XC90 and equipped with internal combustion engines, will be produced in parallel with the electric Volvo EX90, which we have already tested and for which we will tell you let's tell it very briefly. The XC90 will be refreshed and officially unveiled tomorrow, September 4, but we already have information and photos of the model. It is evident from them that the new Volvo XC90 features a changed front end.

Otherwise, as before, the model will be offered in versions for 6 and 7 seats. From now on, all Volvo XC90 crossovers will be hybrid, and exclusively with gasoline engines, since the Swedish automaker has already completely abandoned diesel units. The engine lineup will include mild hybrids and plug-in hybrids with 2.0-liter gasoline turbo four-cylinder engines. We remind you that currently the power of the hybrid units of the Volvo XC90 reaches 455 hp.
