I thought that while clean energy subsidies are not popular among Republican congresspeople, jobs are. EV battery and manufacturing projects are bringing stable, high-paying jobs to primarily red states, which I thought would be enough. But as our own Tim Levin reports, that probably won't be enough to save them. That's why we do original reporting.
