Lamborghini has invested significant technical effort in the development of a unique and unmistakable audio experience from the Temerario’s completely new drive system. Ensuring a highly emotive and unmistakably Lamborghini sound and sensation feedback.
The technical complexity of this special soundscape is immense. To ensure that the crescendo up to 10,000 rpm provides an emotional, sporty sound, Lamborghini integrates various technical measures and enriches them with high-frequency modulation effects.
A special connection between the engine banks enhances the sound effect of the power unit subject to the engine speed. Depending on the driving mode, the silencer box and exhaust valve of the V8 biturbo work in the low rev range to improve acoustic comfort. At the same time, the different driving modes are clearly differentiated through acoustic tuning.
Furthermore, an additional sound symposer emits acoustic waves into the interior, creating an immersive auditory experience in every driving mode.
Lamborghini has also designed a completely different soundscape for the different driving modes Città, Strada, Sport and Corsa.
Automobili Lamborghini continues its positive trend of the last eight years, delivering strong financial and commercial results in the first quarter of 2025, despite uncertainties related to the current geopolitical context and the recent tensions in international trade. In Q1 2025, the company delivered 2,967 cars with a revenue of €895.2 million, up 29.6% on the previous year: an operating income of €248.1 million (up 32.8% compared to the same period in 2024).
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, remarked: “The future is in our hands. It’s up to us to build our own resilience. The results from the first quarter confirm the strength of our brand, even in an uncertain economic context. Global demand remains high, and the figures recorded demonstrate once again the validity of our strategy to combine performance, innovation and exclusivity, while keeping quality and personalization at its core.”
The strong performance is driven by the full production capacity of the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first V12 plug-in hybrid model, and by the arrival of the Urus SE, the new hybrid version of the Lamborghini Super SUV, which is contributing to attracting new customers and strengthening the brand’s global positioning.
Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini, stated: “2025 opened with solid results, confirming the continuity of the path to sustainable financial growth. In today’s uncertain context, particularly in terms of international trade, our commitment remains focused on creating lasting value for our stakeholders, maintaining our long-term vision built on strong financial foundations and environmental responsibility.”
In terms of deliveries in Q1 2025 there was a balanced distribution between the three key commercial regions, EMEA, the Americas, and APAC, with the delivery of 1,368 (+7% compared to the same period in 2024), 1,034 (+21%), and 565 (+14%) cars, respectively. The United States is in top spot with 933 units delivered, followed by Germany (366), the United Kingdom (272), Japan (187), and Italy (143). The top ten is completed by South Korea (134), the Middle East (104), Switzerland (95), Australia (85), and France/Monaco (76).
The widespread distribution and geographic balance reflect the solidity of Automobili Lamborghini’s business strategy, which continues to strengthen its global presence while maintaining strong roots in Italy. The order book remains strong, with a waiting time for the Revuelto of over two years.
These numbers come at a time of increasing geopolitical instability and an evolving trade context. While the latest trade measures between Europe and the United States have not impacted Automobili Lamborghini’s Q1 results, the company continues to closely monitor the situation and evaluate potential future scenarios and implications for its business. The company reiterates its support for international trade based on shared rules, open markets, and stable relationships among global economies, in the belief that protectionist measures could have negative effects on growth, competitiveness, and development.

Lamborghini has ditched their naturally aspirated V10 engine in favor of a twin-turbocharged V8 engine. But it’s not just any turbo V8, it’s one of the highest revving turbo V8 engines the production car world has ever seen, reaching 10,000 RPM. I spoke with Rouven Mohr, Lamborghini’s chief technical officer, to learn all about the new Lamborghini Temerario and the potent power plant inside of it. In this video, we’ll discuss the following questions:
1. Why use a turbocharged V8 instead of a naturally aspirated V10?
2. How much power does the Temerario make?
3. What’s so special about this new V8 engine?
4. How can a turbocharged V8 rev to 10,000 RPM?

- Idk bout y'all but it actually sounds great with the high rev limit. If I had to nitpick, I'd want the sound to be a bit more aggressive.
- Dont know what ppl are on about but it sounds good it just need to sound more grumpier or deepy just a little bit and its sure damn fast
- May God bless me with long life so I can keep working and one day buy these machines, my dream one is Aventador SV,
- It's not bad, but an all-new NA V10 with Gallardo 5.0 displacement, Lexus LFA piston arrangement & firing order (like how Tourbillon's V16 is made as a V16), with mild hybrid system (mid engine with electric assist in dual-clutch for 750-900hp total) in this chassis (this chassis has so much potential because it's a perfect mix of stealth and agility) with RWD (for some fun) would have been so much better. It could have truly meant "from 10 to 10k".
- Lambo i beg you pls make v12 cars again. CAR Guys love the high pitched v12s cus of the sound and the climate doesnt change with the lambos on the road. - I just want Lamborghini to create a really good model... 'cause this one is not like a Lamborghini... Lamborghini is more than a car, it's emotions, thrill and now when I see that Lambo when I hear that sound all my emotions are no more....
- I'm sorry, but that is the most un-Lamborghini looking Lamborghini. Looks closer to a Ferrari than a Lambo. Just sad what is happening in the automotive space.
- Going faster is not really that important any more, since all of these supercars are already fast enough. I’d rather have the character of the V10. But kudos to Lamborghini for building what looks to be a brilliant and high revving engine!
