- I've seen many YouTube videos of F-16 Fighting Falcons in the past years. But I only saw this jet, up close and personal yesterday here in Isabela province. When the pilot of this jet flying almost over me at low altitude maybe 30 meters obove the mountain that I stood. Great job fellas. - Allow me the space to salute General Dynamics for having manufactured one of the best high tech multi-role fighters the world has seen. The F-16 has and will remain a legend of the skies. I fell in love with this bird from the day the Israelis demonstrated its combat combat capabilities during the bombing of Saddam's nuclear reactor at Baghdad. Wish we could have more videos of the plane in combat. Cheers General Dynamics.
- The company I worked for engineered and produced the leading edge flap actuators for the F-16. I began there as a machinist and finished my career as Production Manager. Traveled to General Dynamics FW and Ogden Utah ALC. I am proud to have been a part of producing this magnificent multi-role fighter.
- Technology like this is something truly spectacular. Think about it, a giant metal bird capable of reaching speeds known by very few other methods of transport, carrying weapons capable of doing heavy damage to most structures, and yet, humans made it. Imagine taking one of these back in time to the Renaissance era and showing the people of that time one of these creations.
- Anyone else download a simulator with this particular aircraft being flown? Hard to land these but easy to get in the air and it moves hella fast but idk if I would ever use it for a commute to work unless I was flying abroad I hate travel time but I love to travel 😂🤷♂️
I would prefer a linear jet with about a 10-12 person hull. Definitely choose the F-16 for fighting 😂 so responsive compared to other comparable speeded stealth jets!
