MORE IMFO
The Airbus A320 is a short-to-medium range, narrow-body, commercial passenger airliner that was first introduced to the market in 1987. Developed by the French aircraft manufacturer Airbus, the A320 quickly became one of the most popular commercial airliners in use today.

The A320 has a sleek and aerodynamic exterior, with a length of 37.6 meters and a wingspan of 34.1 meters. It has a maximum takeoff weight of around 77,000 kg and a fuel capacity of nearly 24,000 liters, allowing it to fly for up to 6 hours without refueling. The aircraft features a modern and spacious cabin, which is designed to accommodate up to 180 passengers.

One notable feature of the A320 is its advanced fly-by-wire technology, which allows pilots to control the plane using electronic signals rather than traditional mechanical systems. This technology makes the A320 one of the safest and most reliable aircraft in operation today.

The cockpit of the A320 is equipped with state-of-the-art avionics systems, including full-color multifunction displays, digital flight management systems, and advanced pilot controls. The cockpit is also fitted with advanced safety features, such as an electronic centralized aircraft monitoring system and fly-by-wire avionics protections.

In terms of performance, the A320 is highly efficient, with an average fuel consumption rate of around 2,000 kg per hour. The aircraft is also highly maneuverable, with a maximum speed of around 830 km/h and a maximum altitude of up to 39,000 feet.

Overall, the Airbus A320 is a highly advanced and innovative commercial airliner that has revolutionized the aviation industry. With its advanced technology, sleek design, and impressive performance capabilities, the A320 continues to be one of the most popular and widely used aircraft in operation today.

- question, whats ur favourite airplane company that dosent make massive jets like boeing or airbus
- Nice i’d love to see an a318 but unfortunately only air France fly them now 😢
- The short haul airliner that flew from london to new york 💀
- I’ll vote for him, he gained my vote after that amazing speech. Especially the “mongus” part! So inspirational.
- And amazingly, the A318 is the tallest of the family! Its vertical stabilizer is 1.2 meter taller than the rest of the fleet. This because it is so short, that Airbus had to increase the rudder efficiency in case of V1 cut (loss of one engine), due to its smaller arm length. Flew this bird for 2 years, it’s like a sports car (same engines as the 319/320), it climbs so fast!
- Flew into Denver on a Frontier A318 some years ago. The flight crew let me into the cockpit after we landed and I noticed that they had a placard on the control panel showing the terminal to concourse A skybridge with a "Do Not" red circle and slash superimposed. (Frontier had its gates on Concourse A.) The shorter fuselage on the A318 meant the normal tail couldn't produce enough yaw moment, so Airbus increased the tail's height. This made the tail too tall to pass under the Denver skybridge. Frontier's other aircraft at the time, A319s as well as a few remnant 737s, could pass under the skybridge without issue.
