Tri-Motor Power
Three carbon-sleeved rotors and an enhanced battery system ensure maximum power without performance degradation, even during back-to-back runs.
The Future of Transport
Tesla uses billions of miles of anonymous real-world driving data to train Full Self-Driving (Supervised) to take care of the most stressful parts of daily driving while helping make the roads safer for you and others. When enabled, your vehicle will drive you almost anywhere with your active supervision, requiring minimal intervention.
Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is currently available in the U.S., Canada, China, Mexico and Puerto Rico and will come to other regions in future updates.
Designed for Every Drive
Full Self-Driving (Supervised) intelligently and accurately completes driving maneuvers for you, including route navigation, steering, lane changes, parking and more under your active supervision. Use it for quick errands, daily commutes and road trips.
Actually Smart Summon Drives to You
Activate in the Tesla app and your Tesla vehicle will navigate through parking lots and tight spaces to get to you.
FSD (Supervised) Drives for You
On-board cameras with 360-degree visibility will check your blind spots and move your Tesla vehicle into a neighboring lane while maintaining your speed and avoiding bikes, motorcycles and other cars.
Autopark Parks for You
Your Tesla vehicle will automatically detect and maneuver into perpendicular and parallel parking spots for you.
Trained on Once-In-A-Lifetime Scenarios
Crashes are complex. Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is trained on what amounts to over 100 years of anonymous real-world driving scenarios from our fleet of over six million vehicles. Our fleet collectively experiences a lifetime of driving scenarios in 10 minutes.
Always Attentive, Never Distracted
Cameras don’t blink, feel tired or get distracted. Full Self-Driving (Supervised) helps you drive better by taking care of the most common and error-prone driving tasks. Tesla vehicles are equipped with exterior cameras that enable 360-degree visibility, plus safety features powered by the same technology as our FSD software to help reduce the severity of accidents or prevent them altogether. Over-the-air software updates ensure each Tesla vehicle has access to the latest safety improvements.
The Future Is Autonomous
As our Full Self-Driving technology continues to advance, we get closer to making a fully autonomous future possible. With Full Self-Driving (Unsupervised), autonomous driving will be made possible, unlocking our fleet of robotaxis and making Cybercab a reality.
All-Electric Performance
A high-performance powertrain and advanced battery system unlock instant torque, efficiency and range. An optimized thermal system allows for faster charging and more consistent power at the track or on the road.
Convenient Entry
Front doors automatically open as you approach for easier entry. Rear falcon doors make loading and unloading more convenient.
Adaptive Driving Headlights
Headlights automatically react to conditions and other vehicles to enhance visibility while reducing glare for oncoming traffic.
Enhanced Aerodynamics
Exterior details are optimized to reduce drag and boost range efficiency. A rear spoiler decreases lift for refined performance.
Go Anywhere
Drive up to 352 miles on a single charge. When you need to recharge, add up to 179 miles in just 15 minutes4 at one of over 60,000 Superchargers globally. Navigate with Trip Planner and your Tesla will automatically take you to Supercharging stops along the way while optimizing your route.

- Honestly, they should have waited longer and added steer by wire and the 800v architecture. There's not enough here to justify the cost increase over the Model 3 and Y. Really only the Model X is worth looking at because it is Tesla's only 7 seater.
- You took the wheel, interior lights and seats from the Model 3 and put them in the S and think that's innovation? Look at Chinese cars, and learn about comfort, luxury and sophistication to charge $85k for a car. They offer much more than Tesla and charge MUCH less than you.
- Still waiting for the updated S/X in the UK. The only option we have is to buy a LHD when we need RHD.
- I, for one, appreciate the fact that they don't completely redo the design. The current design is great! If it ain't broke don't change it!
- I have a Model S and honestly I expected much more, Tesla think a car only needs technology, but an owner of an $85k car wants much more than that, we wants luxury, comfort, sophistication. Tesla took the wheel, interior lights and seats from the Model 3 and put them in the S and think that's innovation? Look at Chinese cars, especially from NIO, and learn about comfort, luxury and sophistication to charge $85k for a car. They offer much more than Tesla and charge MUCH less than Tesla. Honestly? I'm disappointed that you guys still don't get this, I'm a big fan of the brand but I don't know if I'll buy another one when I trade in my Model S.
