All-New 2026 XPeng P7 | ShortsCars

Meet the all-new XPENG P7 — a bold evolution of one of China’s most important EVs. From its futuristic XMART face and active rear wing to an AI-powered interior with a tilting screen and 87-inch AR-HUD, this is the smartest P7 yet.

XPeng has officially revealed the new XPeng P7, a completely redesigned version of its popular electric sports sedan. Inspired by cyberpunk aesthetics, the new P7 adopts an edgier and more futuristic design language that sets it apart from its predecessor. According to Chinese media outlet Yiche, the updated model reflects XPeng's evolution in design and technology.

Crafted under the guidance of French designer Rafik Ferrag, the P7 still retains several familiar design cues from the XPeng family. Its sleek front fascia is now enhanced by a full-width LED light bar—XPeng’s latest signature lighting element. The vehicle also features hidden door handles, frameless windows, and an active rear spoiler that automatically adjusts based on driving conditions, further boosting its aerodynamic performance.

In terms of size, the new P7 clearly asserts itself as a true electric sports sedan. It measures 5017 mm in length, 1970 mm in width, and 1427 mm in height, with a generous wheelbase of 3008 mm. These dimensions contribute to its dynamic proportions and spacious interior layout.

Inside, the cabin of the new XPeng P7 has been fully overhauled with the brand’s latest design philosophy. A flat-bottomed steering wheel and a large floating center display dominate the dashboard, while dual wireless charging pads and integrated front sport seats bring both functionality and performance appeal. The seats feature active side bolsters that respond within 10 milliseconds and can adjust laterally by up to 30 mm for enhanced driver support during dynamic driving.

Tech highlights include an industry-first “Touch Pad” control interface and a massive 87-inch augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD)—the largest in its segment. The AR-HUD supports real-time navigation overlays, driver assistance visuals, and even interactive AR gaming features.

Powering the new P7 is XPeng’s advanced Turing AI chip, which enables a vision-based driver assistance system with full NGP (Navigation Guided Pilot) support for both highways and city streets.

Under the hood, customers will be able to choose between single-motor and dual-motor configurations. The single-motor rear-wheel-drive version produces 270 kW (367 hp), while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant combines a 167 kW (224 hp) front motor with the same 270 kW rear motor, ensuring outstanding performance and traction.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), battery options for the new XPeng P7 include 74.9 kWh and 92.2 kWh packs, offering impressive CLTC ranges of 625 km and 820 km respectively.

Buyers can further personalize their new P7 with optional scissor doors, active aerodynamic components, and a selection of three wheel designs, some featuring eye-catching orange brake calipers.

Chinese media outlet Mydrivers reports that the starting price for the new XPeng P7 is expected to be around 200,000 yuan (approximately 28,000 USD), positioning it slightly above the outgoing model, which starts at 186,800 yuan (26,000 USD).

With its bold styling, innovative tech, and extended range capabilities, the new XPeng P7 is poised to redefine the electric sports sedan segment in both China and global markets.
