MINI JCW Aceman 2025 FAQs | ShortsCars

What is the difference between the MINI Aceman and the MINI Cooper?
The MINI Aceman is the bigger brother of the all-electric MINI Cooper. With its five doors and surprisingly roomy interior, it is highly versatile, and you can comfortably take up to 4 adult passengers. Beyond the everyday commute, it's a great option if you want to go on journeys with friends, or for young families who want to get out and about. What’s more, the MINI Aceman still gives you the thrilling go-kart driving experience you know from the smaller MINI Cooper.

What is the difference between the MINI Aceman and the MINI Countryman?
The MINI Aceman offers a similar versatility to the MINI Countryman – but thanks to its smaller turning circle, it is very nimble and more maneuverable in urban surroundings. And being 36 cm shorter than the MINI Countryman, the all-electric MINI Aceman fits comfortably into smaller spaces, giving you more flexibility in finding parking spots.

Is the MINI Aceman only available as an electric car?
Yes. It is the first, purpose-built, all-electric MINI crossover. It is a new vehicle type that has been specially developed for electric driving. The MINI Aceman was built from scratch to embrace electric mobility and be both fun to drive and highly practical at the same time.

Does the all-electric MINI Aceman have enough range for my journeys?
When it comes to range, the all-electric MINI Aceman can achieve up to 252 miles (WLTP Combined). That’s more than enough for most trips you can imagine. The range will vary according to your driving habits and traffic conditions. How you drive can make a big difference to your available range and how quickly your charge is used.

How much does the MINI Aceman cost?
The new MINI Aceman starts from £28,905 on the road. There are plenty of options available to personalise your MINI, so the price will vary depending on how many add-ons you choose. To find out how much your customised MINI Aceman could cost, get in touch with your local retailer.

What does the MINI App do?
The MINI App is your companion for a vast set of relevant vehicle features and functionalities. It connects you with your MINI and gives you instant access to your MINI’s status. You can see when your next service is due, check your electric range and charging status, and even use the MINI App as a Digital Key. Remote services let you search for your vehicle in say, a big car park, lock/unlock doors and adjust climate control remotely. It also gives you direct access to your MINI Service Centre.

Can I use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in my MINI with Operating System 9?
Yes. In your MINI with Operating System 9, you can display and operate the apps of your connected smartphone with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay in the central instrument (“MINI Interaction Unit”).

Does my MINI receive regular Remote Software Upgrades?
Yes. Through regular Remote Software Upgrades, your MINI receives quality improvements and, depending on the country of delivery, model and equipment, new functions or functional improvements free of charge and over the air. Once a Remote Software Upgrade is available for your vehicle, you will receive a notification via the MINI App on your smartphone and in the central instrument (“MINI Interaction Unit”) of your vehicle.

- great review , we are a mini lovers family (3cars) and my wife just ordered a Aceman to replace a old Countryman , she was not happy to go for a full electric but as soon she drove the car she got in love with it straight way and a hour later she ordered one with JCW spec

- Excellent review and describes exactly how you feel in this car. The problem is that this car looks much much better in reality than in videos and photos. If you drive it you order it. That’s how it works. And this is what I did. After testing Alfa Junior, Tesla M3 and IONIQ 5 I made the mistake to test this one. I ordered it the very next minute. Once again great review Bryan !!

- I tested one a couple weeks ago in that trim too. On paper wouldn't be my choice. Once I picked it up...Man! It's like judging the book by the cover. You have to try it! Great car, indeed! Well done review. Thank you!
