Genesis of the Concept
The Magma GT Concept is a "design manifesto and a strategic beacon" for Genesis's long-term performance strategy. The development of a road-going sports car is required for Genesis to compete in the GT3 racing category, and this concept is a direct preview of that model. It represents a shift for Genesis towards true high-performance luxury, moving beyond its established lineup of luxury sedans and SUVs.

Key Features and Design Design Philosophy: The car embodies an "Effortless Performance" ethos, prioritizing balance and a refined luxury experience over raw aggression. It uses Genesis' "Athletic Elegance" design language adapted for a high-performance application.

Mid-Engine Layout: The concept features a mid-rear engine layout, a first for the brand, which optimizes weight distribution and dynamic capability.
Aerodynamics:
Every surface is sculpted for optimal aerodynamic performance, including integrated front canards, G-Matrix aerodynamic patterns, and a pronounced rear spoiler and diffuser.
Aesthetics: It features a striking Magma Orange signature color, a low and wide stance, scissor doors, and a wrap-around windscreen reminiscent of a Koenigsegg.
Powertrain: No technical specifications have been officially released, but the design hints at an internal combustion engine, potentially a version of the twin-turbo hybrid V-8 being developed for the Magma Racing Hypercar (GMR-001) which will compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2026.

Crafting the future by disrupting today. As a young brand, we don’t have the luxury of dipping into archives or resting on tradition when it comes to design. Instead, we approach each new vehicle and experience from a blank canvas. It’s how we were able to create a new design language that’s built into each of our vehicles. It's why we pushed boundaries of what one could expect from an EV, which resulted in our all-electric GV60. It's the reason why the G70 is an auto-enthusiast favorite, the G90 is an expression of pure elegance and the GV80 + GV70 SUV duo push the category forward.

On this channel, you’ll find all-things Genesis. From vehicle discovery and ownership to content that builds the world of Genesis. You’ll witness the building of our DNA in real time. Our always-on exploration and push for beautifully crafted luxury that naturally commands attention and is truly unforgettable. So, stay a while and explore. And, most importantly, welcome to Genesis.
