IMFO MBUX.
The fourth generation MBUX opens up a new world of personalised experiences and intuitive interaction between people and vehicle. It is the first in-car infotainment system to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) from both Microsoft and Google, thus uniting multiple AI agents in a single system. It offers maximum flexibility for the seamless integration of third-party content by keeping the signature Mercedes-Benz interface.
MB.DRIVE.
MB.DRIVE gives customers the opportunity to expand the functionality of advanced driver assistance systems. Starting with the MMA platform, the new CLA will be equipped with multiple sensors and cameras to enable partially automated driving up to SAE Level 2+ (in selected markets) and comfortable parking assistance. This allows customers to choose between two MB.DRIVE ASSIST and two MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST packages - either right from the point of vehicle handover, or conveniently on demand via software updates over-the-air.
MB.CHARGE.
With MB.CHARGE Public, customers with electric vehicles have access to attractive charging conditions that are flexibly tailored to individual mileage. Fixed prices at MB.CHARGE Public ensure maximum price transparency. In addition, MB.CHARGE Public users receive priority access to the charging network from Mercedes-Benz.
The use of certain Digital Extras requires the continuous acceptance of the Terms of Use for Digital Extras and the Mercedes me ID Terms of Use in their respective current versions, the permanent pairing of the vehicle with the Mercedes-Benz user account, the consent to the storage and retrieval of necessary information to activate some Digital Extras within the paired vehicle and - where applicable - the activation of the Digital Extras. After the expiration of limited runtimes, Digital Extras can be extended for a fee in the Mercedes-Benz Store, provided that they are still offered for the respective vehicle at that time.
Furthermore, there may be additional prerequisites or restrictions for the usage of some Digital Extras, such as a separate customer-owned contract with a third-party provider (e.g., streaming, conclusion of a data contract for "Comfort Data Volume“, navigation functions), the activation of additional Digital Extras to secure full functionality or selected third-party products (e.g., smartphone, smartwatch). As an alternative to the "Comfort Data Volume" a customer-owned data volume (e.g., mobile hotspot) must be used depending on the generation of your multimedia system.
Information on the personal data processed for the usage of Digital Extras can be found in the Privacy Statement for Digital Extras.
The connection of the communication module to the mobile network, including the emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of the network providers.
Please also refer to any instructions in your vehicle's operating manual.
MBUX Virtual Assistant
Utilizing generative artificial intelligence (AI), the new MBUX Virtual Assistant[b] recognises emotions and can respond accordingly. As it gets to know you, it will learn from your routines and come up with proactive suggestions. The star avatar provides colour-coded animations to express moods and show empathy.
Navigation based on Google Maps
For the first time, navigation inside the new CLA is based on Google Maps data. This unique navigation solution combines core services from Google, like live traffic data, with the familiar user interface and services from Mercedes-Benz regarding charging and parking.
New intuitive User Interface
The updated MBUX with new intuitive user interface enables you to complete most actions without leaving the home screen. Large icons and a simpler interface create an engaging and truly immersive user experience for driver and passenger with real-time graphics coming to life, powered by the Unity 3D-Engine.

- I've been driving a Tesla Model 3 Highland SR with a highly efficient heat pump, double glazing, ventilated and heated power leather seats, a glass roof, and Autopilot (all standard) since July 2, 2024. No turn signal lever, no gearshift lever. Developed in California and Texas, produced in Shanghai. The car is completely flawless, with no errors, currently 24,789 km on the clock. Total consumption to date is exactly 10.4 kWh (per 100 km). As of March 13, 2025 (without sticker on the trunk lid).- I like it - I know one or two people, which are already interested. One of them has just 1 problem: The roof needs to be able to be covered with a rollo or something similar.
- 6 months ago Ola said that the warranty would be 160,000km (ie 100,000 miles). Yesterday in the UK the Mercedes Benz online brochure for the CLA250+ states only 62,000 miles. For such a great car this shows no confidence. Hopefully they will review this and make similar to EQE/EQS to show greater engineering quality than Tesla UK warranty. Perhaps it was a mistake in using the warranty from the PHEV ranges and somehow the quality assurance department/legal in publishing or marketing missed didn't notice.
