Active Lane Keeping Assist
Active Lane Keeping Assist monitors the area in front of your vehicle and can prevent you from unintentionally leaving your lane. The system can guide you back into your lane by means of lane-correcting steering intervention and additionally warn you by giving you noticeable feedback on the steering wheel.
Intelligent Speed Assistance
Keep an eye on applicable speed limits more easily. The assistant(s) can read the maximum permitted speed from road signs via camera and navigation data and transfer it to the instrument cluster. If you exceed the speed limit, it can warn you with visible and audible signals.
Blind Spot Assist with Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Blind Spot Assistwith Rear Cross Traffic Alert can emit visual and audible warnings to help avoid accidents when changing lane and reversing. If Blind Spot Assist detects a vehicle in the blind spot, it displays a warning with a red triangle in the corresponding exterior mirror.
Traffic Sign Assist
Traffic Sign Assist can support the driver by continually displaying any detected speed limits, "no-entry" signs and "no-overtaking" restrictions, as well as the lifting of these restrictions, on the instrument cluster display and on the media display. This particularly helps on journeys with frequently changing speed limits, for instance in road construction zones.
Active Distance Assist

The radar-based Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC automatically maintains a set distance to vehicles travelling in front, taking the strain off you on motorways or in stop-and-go traffic. ATTENTION ASSIST
The ATTENTION ASSIST system can help to avoid momentary microsleep and therefore provides you with increased safety, in particular when driving at night and on long journeys. The system provides you with a visual and audible warning if it identifies typical signs of fatigue or attention lapse, and suggests taking a break.

- Mine goes all over Europe and its fantastic on fuel. Check out the custom built W447 Land Jet. Also the Extra Long with the rear seats out is over 7,000 Liters capacity 😉- I drove for some time the V220CDI from W638 generation and it had a table in the back, i was so impressed at the time. It was a cool car since you could hang arround in the back, sadly some drunk ass totaled it while it was parked. Then i got the A150 W169 petrol
- The rear seat rail design is the same as the ones on the W639, so they are more than 20 years old now, and they were probably designed in the 90s.
