- You didn't mention how safe they were compared to other cars. Here in Sweden they are mostly known as a family typ car. And most people would trust Volvo over any other car brand with thier saftey and it would be cool to know where this modle stack up- You can actually say hey Google set temperature to the temperature and it will. It’s to help you keep your eyes on the road and less distractions. That’s why no physical buttons
- I like the direction Volvo is heading with their EV lineup. Window switches were copied over from the Volkswagen ID.4. I totally agree, not sure what the reasoning is behind this. It makes a function that was second nature more difficult to use. I don't mind the heated/cooled seat function and HVAC controls in the screen, as long as those functions have an "Auto" setting. Similar to the Tesla, when the vehicle senses the ambient temperature outside it automatically turns on the heated seats / steering wheel in the winter and cools everything in the summer. Very rarely do you need to make adjustments. Really enjoying these Auto Focus reviews!
- This sounds fantastic. Apple CarPlay, responsive UI, quiet cabin, smooth ride, comfortable seats, great sound system and a gear selector on the stock! If only it had the physical buttons, bench seat up front, and self driving it’d be perfect. Still, I might go actually test drive one. My only question: does the cabin stay quiet while it’s in motion? Or is there noticeable road noise?
