Seen here in the sole Caligraphy grade set to be offered at launch, the Palisade will start from around $90,000 and come in both seven- and eight-seat configurations.
A rival to the Toyota Kluger, Nissan Pathfinder and the outgoing Jeep Grand Cherokee L, the Palisade competes in a small but still popular end of the large SUV segment.
Although not officially on sale just yet, in today’s video, senior contributor Nathan Ponchard is taking a look at a pre-production version of the new Palisade to see if it's worth getting excited about.
Some SUVs ask for attention. The all-new 2026 PALISADE Hybrid earns it. With a bold design, advanced tech, and third-row comfort. Okay Hyundai!

- Can't I add Hyundai logo sound to the US ad like overseas adverts....? Plz @hyundai😢😥- The Hyundai Palisade is not really to be compared with Everest, Isuzu Mux, and Prado. Neither with LC300 nor the Nissan Patrol. This car competes with the Kia Taluride in the US and the Mazda CX9. Had Mercedes continued with the R Class, it might have developed possibly to be in the same class. This is a luxury car, not to be compared with the utilitarians like Everest. This is for families, and touring people who love comfort. It's not meant to do tracks in the wilderness or do river crossings. It's a great continuation to a great car already.
- A noisy high revving 4 cylinder, no thanks and will cost way over 100K in Australia . Needs a V6 hybrid then its a winner.
- When we first saw the square Santa Fe grow a bit, I was hoping that the Palisade would follow. But man did Hyundai hit this one out of the park! I kinda wish it was almost Tahoe sized.
- I can see the influences from its more premium big brother brand the Genesis GV80, all the rounded of edges of the dash, and that pecan interior on this deep green looks amazing, I’ll bet that the cost be around $75G or more in Canada for the Calligraphy
